For this session at Piedmont Park, the couple chose a mix of comfortable yet stylish outfits, which allowed them to feel at ease while exploring the beautiful park grounds.

  4. Playful Activities: Fly a kite, play catch, or simply stroll hand-in-hand through the park for candid, fun moments.

About This Spring Engagement Session

The featured photos in this article were taken during an early spring engagement session at Piedmont Park, one of Atlanta’s most iconic locations. Scheduled during the first week of March, the session captured the park’s transition into spring.

Despite the unpredictable Atlanta weather, the couple embraced the crisp, pleasant temperatures. While some trees remained bare, vibrant pink and purple blooms added a splash of color to the park’s lush greenery. The day provided a mix of patchy lawns and stunning blossoms, creating a dynamic and visually interesting backdrop.

Muslim Engagement Photos Atlanta with City Skyline Views

Wanted to show off a few highlights from Leah & Asif’s engagement session with city skyline views from Piedmont Park last week!

Because this session was a summer time session in late August, the weather was still fairly hot & humid later in the day. Due to the hot, HOT weather in August, this was an early morning session to take advantage of the coolest time of day!

We were honored to capture these Piedmont Park Bridal Session images for our dear friends Kim & Jaesen! Below are a couple of highlights from their super fun bridal session!

One of the things we absolutely love about all photo sessions at Piedmont Park are the incredible views this park has to offer! The lake in the background is definitely one of the key features!

Kim & Jaesen were laughing non stop throughout their bridal session! We loved every minute of it!

We can never get enough of these Atlanta city skyline views from inside the park! One of the best spots we love to shoot in is right on top of this gorgeous brick wall & stair steps!

And of course, the best time of day to schedule your photo session is usually just after sunrise, or just before sunset – depending on the time of year and the season we’re currently in! This session took place in the fall! Since fall weather in Georgia is so perfect, couples can book their sessions at sunrise or sunset!

Sunny Day Engagement Photos on the Atlanta Beltline

Sunny Day Engagement Photos on the Atlanta Beltline

We had such an amazing time with Xiaoxiao and Rohit at their engagement session! This was a hot summer session in the middle of July at the time of the shoot! To beat the hot sun, we plan for early morning sessions. It’s the best way we know how to beat the heat in the summer time here in Atlanta! Humidity can still be an issue at times in Georgia, so we do our best to look out for that when we’re planning for summer time engagement sessions.

Xiaoxiao & Rohit opted for their engagement session to start at the Atlanta Beltline! We got to take some photos in front of the latest murals painted on the walls there. The beltline is a great way to add in a splash of color into your engagement pictures.

After their Atlanta Beltline engagement photos, we moved into Piedmont Park for the rest of the session! It’s super convenient in terms of locations – Piedmont Park is right next to part of the Atlanta Beltline!

At Piedmont Park, you can find plenty of greenery, open fields, beautiful trees, and of course incredible views of the Atlanta Skyline! It might be one of the prettiest places for an Atlanta engagement session in Georgia! Below you’ll find a quick interview with this lovely bride & groom to be! 🙂

How did the two of you meet?
On an app, we had a seven hour date! We got along from the start and knew it would be something special!

How/ when did you start dating?
Our sense of humor and views towards life and family and the important things matched. We started dating immediately after our first date. We both felt it was right from the start.

Tell me about your relationship
Rohit is kind, thoughtful, and truly amazing. We share the same views towards family, career, life, etc and that’s why we meshed from the start. We were nervous but quickly felt at home when we met each others’ families.

When did you know this person was the one?
I think we both knew deep down, but we both had not experienced anything like it before, so the realization may have crept up!

How did the engagement happen?
He proposed on Christmas eve when we were visiting his family in LA. It was cliffside overlooking the ocean at Dana Point. I called my parents and best girlfriends first. I had no idea it was going to happen!

What’s the one thing about each other you couldn’t live without?
The way he always knows how to handle me (my emotional states!) and his kindness and goofiness – I guess more than one thing!

We had a fabulous session a few weeks back photographing these Atlanta park engagement photos with Caitlin & Subodh!  They opted to have their engagement session done in one of the prettiest most “Atlanta” parks – Piedmont!  If you’re looking for ideas on where to take pictures in piedmont park check these out!

Below are a few highlights from their day as well as a few words with our lovely bride & groom to be!

Atlanta Park Engagement Photos

How did the two of you meet? What were your first impressions? Was it love at first sight?

  • Bride: We met on a dating app. I thought he was really cute and interesting. I wouldn’t say it was love at first sight, but there was definitely a strong connection.
  • Groom:  We met online. I thought she was pretty cute and interesting, and wanted to know more.
Atlanta Park Engagement Photos

What attracted you most to each other? How long before you started dating? Where was your first date? Were you nervous?

  • Bride: We started dating right away- I asked him out because I didn’t want to miss the chance to get to know him! Our first date was at Krog Bar. I wasn’t really nervous, and we just had a lot of fun together.
  • Groom: We talked for a while, but before I could, she asked me out! We met at Krog Bar for our first date. I kinda felt like time stopped for a few minutes when she walked into the bar. She was really easy to talk to and we had a lot of fun getting to know each other. I couldn’t wait to see her again.

Tell me about your relationship

  • Bride: He’s just so kind and loving, and I know he loves me unconditionally so I can be myself around him. I was a little nervous when my family met him because he’s so important to me, but I knew they’d get along great. He said I love you first, but I said it right back! It was so easy to say to him I couldn’t believe I hadn’t said it sooner.
  • Groom: I’m always nervous, and Caitlin was perfect when she met my family. Caitlin is so warm and caring, and it’s what drew me to her. I don’t think I can go a day with out talking to her or just seeing her smile. We tend to be a little reserved on our own, but together we like to be a little more adventurous. I get to be myself around Caitlin, and I love how genuine she is with me. I know it’s cliche but she really is my best friend.

When did you know this person was the one?

  • Bride:  I knew pretty early on. It wasn’t a sudden moment, just the realization that I was so happy when I was with him that I wouldn’t have it any other way.
  • Groom: I think I knew for a while

How did the engagement happen?

  • Bride: He asked me at home after we got back from a night out. He told me nothing went as planned, but to me it was perfect! I was a little suspicious when he not-very-subtly tried to find out my ring size a few months earlier, but I was very surprised in the moment. We told both sets of parents the next day, and everyone was thrilled!
  • Groom:  Nothing went as planned. It’s hard to be sneaky about ring shopping and hiding it when you’re always together. I planned to go back to our first date spot, and ask her as we walked out, but it started raining and we had to run back the car. When we got home I Caitlin left the room and when she came back I got down on one knee and asked her to marry me. I think I surprised her, but she might’ve known I was going to ask. I was really nervous and wanted everything to go perfectly. I’m kinda glad it didn’t. We told my mom about it first. She was so excited.

Last Question! What’s the one thing about each other you couldn’t live without?

  • Bride:  His kindness and sense of humor. He always makes me feel better!
  • Groom: Her heart.
