Our proposal collections begin at $999 for weekdays (Monday through Thursday) and $1499 for weekends (Friday through Sunday), and most proposal clients invest about $1499. Every collection includes planning help, coverage of the proposal and celebration portraits afterward, and your finished digital images. Exact rates vary with your date, season and travel, if required.

Every proposal needs a rain plan, agreed before you book. For a weekday proposal at an outdoor or public location booked within two weeks, that's a backup date and time we set together when you book. Weekend proposals, and outdoor proposals booked further ahead, go ahead rain or shine and need an indoor or covered backup location. About 24 hours before your start time, we make the weather call using our Inclement Weather Policy and move to your backup if needed. See the full rain plan.

Spring and fall are our busiest times of year, and the stretch from fall through the winter holidays fills especially fast, so booking early helps, and weekdays usually have the best availability. Beyond that, there’s no set timeline for booking your proposal session, but we do recommend securing your venue first or booking your venue and our services at the same time to ensure both our availability and the venue’s. Many venues that host full-day events prefer to accommodate shorter bookings closer to the date, allowing for flexibility in scheduling. If you’re planning a proposal months in advance, we highly recommend choosing a venue with indoor and outdoor options to adapt to any weather changes. Whether you’re booking closer to your desired date or coordinating a bit further out, we’re here to help make your proposal unforgettable.

Our weekend proposal packages are priced higher than weekday options due to increased demand and limited weekend availability. As is common in the event industry, we reserve weekends for clients who seek the added exclusivity and flexibility these popular dates provide. Weekdays, meanwhile, offer a more accessible rate, making them an ideal choice for a more private, intimate setting. Whether you prefer a bustling weekend or a quieter weekday, we’re committed to delivering an exceptional experience for your unforgettable proposal.

While our primary focus is capturing your proposal, we’re happy to guide you through the planning. With years of experience photographing proposals in Atlanta, we can recommend locations and share insights on timing and light for your moment. For décor, florals or marquee letters, we’re happy to share setup companies we know who focus on décor only. You book and pay them directly, so the setup is arranged just the way you want it. While public parks, like Piedmont Park, offer scenic beauty, they often come with limitations such as crowds, limited privacy, and unpredictable weather—all of which can affect the intimacy and timing of your proposal. Venues, by contrast, provide a more controlled and private setting, often with both indoor and outdoor spaces to ensure a seamless experience, no matter the weather. Securing a venue also means you’ll have exclusive access to a beautiful, well-prepared space at a specific time, perfect for creating a memorable atmosphere. Many of our recommended venues can even double as engagement party locations, allowing you to transition effortlessly from the proposal to celebrating with loved ones right after!

Rather than hiding in the distance, which can limit photo quality and angles, we prefer an approach where any decor, setup, or venue elements are thoughtfully arranged so that the proposal scene naturally conveys something special is about to happen. When your partner sees a beautifully crafted setup, they’ll instantly feel the magic of the moment, and the presence of a photographer won’t detract from their reaction. We generally recommend the couple of hours leading up to sunset, often referred to as “golden hour,” for the most flattering natural light and soft, warm tones. If your proposal includes marquee letters or other lighting elements, planning it right at sunset or just after can create a beautiful glow that highlights both the decor and the moment itself. We’re happy to discuss timing options to ensure the atmosphere aligns perfectly with your vision and chosen location.

Yes, we love capturing proposals in unique and beautiful locations! Travel fees may apply for proposals outside the metro Atlanta area. Just let us know where you’re planning your proposal, and we’ll be happy to discuss travel arrangements.

We understand the anticipation of reliving your proposal. When our schedule allows, we love to share a few sneak-peek previews soon after your session as a bonus. Your complete, polished gallery is typically delivered within a few weeks, and for clients who would like it sooner, we offer Priority Delivery. Please let us know in advance if you’d like to add it, and we’ll make sure your images are ready as soon as possible.
