Samantha & Anthony’s wedding was nothing short of spectacular. We had the best time working with Samantha & Anthony on their wedding day at The Conservatory at Waterstone in Acworth, Georgia! This was a July wedding, and while we did get rain that day, it did not ruin the outdoor ceremony!
We started our day with the guys getting ready. Anthony had gifts for his groomsmen including some awesome Marvel superhero shirts! We also grabbed some fantastic photos of the gentleman as they gathered around the bar where they were getting ready. While the gentlemen were doing their thing downstairs, the ladies were getting ready upstairs. Samantha had an awesome dress, we loved the laces in the back! Once she was ready, our bride took a moment to have a private first look with dad. These moments always get me choked up. When everyone was dressed, we went out behind the Conservatory for the ceremony. The decor was beautiful; from the floral arrangements lining the aisle to the gorgeous arch Samantha & Anthony were married under. It was a very heart warming ceremony. Following the ceremony we got some time to work with the bride and groom around the venue, capturing some of the beautiful scenery the Conservatory has to offer. These creatives turned out amazing!
This first dance was a personal favorite of mine. Midway through the dance, both the bride and groom pulled out lightsabers and started dueling. Then the father of the bride jumped in as well. The whole thing ended in a draw, and Samantha & Anthony concluded their dance.
Dinner was equally unique and exciting. Each table had a different Disney movie theme. The arrangements were spectacular! They brought out the inner child in everyone.
Following dinner was cake, a bouquet and garter toss, and lots of dancing. The night wrapped up with a sparkler & bubble send off. We had a blast that day, we are so glad we got to be a part of it!

A Real Roswell Mill Wedding
Teresa and Tommy approached us almost a year ago to photograph their intimate wedding. What started as a private affair with solely one or two witnesses turned into a family gathering that celebrated the union of this awesome couple. As Atlanta wedding photographers, we love every opportunity we have to photograph Roswell Mill weddings!
With a February date, we had no idea what the weather would do, so Teresa and Tommy booked a private house in downtown Roswell, right across the street and within walking distance of the Roswell Mill Park. On the rainy Monday of the wedding, close family members and friends arrived early to assist Teresa in getting ready while Tommy waited in anticipation just upstairs. The two shared a first look, and started the ceremony in the living room area as the rain started to clear up.
At the end of the ceremony, the clouds parted, and the sun began to shine through. This gave us an excellent opportunity to photograph family pictures outdoors, and then progress to Roswell Mill Park across the street for creatives. Below are a few highlights from the day with this amazing couple – Teresa & Tommy!
Conclusion
A Roswell Mill wedding offers a variety of breathtaking locations that are perfect for capturing the essence of your special day. From the historic covered bridge to the serene pathways and dramatic waterfalls, each spot provides a unique backdrop that will make your wedding photos truly unforgettable.

It was an absolute honor to capture these Piedmont Park wedding photos for this gorgeous couple! This elopement ceremony was a short and sweet micro wedding, and the couple were surrounded by their loved ones in an intimate circle under the gazebo at Piedmont Park. Below are the highlights from the day as well as a few words from this fun loving couple –
How did the two of you meet?
Bride: We met for our first date at Hand in Hand in Virginia Highlands. It wasn’t love at first sight…I was too preoccupied with work. I ended being laid off the following Monday! But, I texted him a few nights later and we had a second date that was amazing and we’ve been together ever since!
Groom: Hand in Hand in Virginia Highlands. She looked beautiful as always, but was very preoccupied. I’d kind of written it off thinking that was the end of it. She reached out to me a few days later and we went on another date. She was more relaxed and I even got to witness her extreme fear of cockroaches firsthand.
How/ when did you start dating? What attracted you most to each other?
Bride: I was attracted to him because he sooo cute! But, seriously, he’s a quiet guy but once he opens up (like on our second date) he’s the funniest guy I’ve ever met!
Groom: Her hair, she loves animals, shared absurd sense of humor.
Tell me about your relationship. What made this person different from anyone else you’d ever encountered?
Bride: He’s different because he’s the only guys who has been there for me through the hardest of times. My mom passed away almost 3 years ago now and he was there no questions asked. I wouldn’t have gotten through that without him!
Groom: [She] is different because at the end of the day, I just enjoy being around her.
When did you know this person was the one?
Bride: It was a slow realization. Just one day I knew it was right.
Groom: I’m only saying this because [she] said it was a slow realization. I knew immediately.
How did the engagement happen?
Bride: He proposed in our new home! We bought our home in May of 2015 and he proposed in June of 2015. I was making him hang curtains all over the house. And then one moment he was down on his knee. I was completely surprised! It was perfectly us.
Last Questions! What’s the one thing about each other you couldn’t live without?
Bride: He’s just so thoughtful and sweet. Always puts me first and I just couldn’t imagine not having him with me.
We LOVE it any time our clients are adventurous enough to try new locations for their engagement sessions. When Samantha & Anthony proposed the idea of driving to Chattanooga, TN for some Lookout Mountain engagement photos, we JUMPED at the opportunity! These two were crazy adventurous as we traipsed through the the Rock City Gardens and Ruby Falls at Lookout Mountain. Below is a quick interview with the Most Adventurous Couple, Samantha & Anthony!
How did you meet?
Samantha: We went on our first date in January 2014. My first impression of Anthony was he was sweet and very good looking. On our first date he gave me my favorite candy – Reese Cups and A Disney movie “Wreck it Ralph”. Anthony says that when he first saw me, he was blown away in how cute I was.
How/ when did you start dating?
Anthony: Our first date was in Savannah, GA and we were both nervous.
How was meeting the parents?
Samantha: I was nervous about Anthony meeting my family because he was the first guy that I had ever dated that I brought home. He was nervous meeting my family because he thought that my family would not like him. I was nervous about meeting his family because I don’t talk much when I meet new people.
Who said I love you first?
Samantha: Anthony said he loved me first. Anthony felt scared because he thought I would not say it back. After he told me I said it back to him and I was a little nervous because I had never told anyone that I loved them.
When did you know this person was the one?
Anthony: Samantha knew I was the one because she would allow me to be my nerdy self and that showed that she loved me for me. She was also a nerd and we loved doing everything together.
Samantha: I knew Anthony was the one when my mom asked him if he would be willing to help me take care of my niece if something happened to her and my dad.
How did the engagement happen?
Samantha: Anthony asked me to marry him December 24th 2015. He had posters with different people/characters we liked from movies and T.V. shows and his brothers, dad, and brother-in-law held the posters up as I walked down the pier. It didn’t happen as I expected because his sister filmed the whole thing wrong and got a picture of a character wrong on the poster. There were butterflies in Anthony’s stomach and he was nervous about the whole thing hoping that everything would go well. I knew nothing about it until I was walking half way down the pier to meet Anthony.
