Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center Wedding Pictures
We had a blast with Amber & Ronald this past summer! Below are a couple of fun highlights from the day.
The whole day’s events took place at the Georgia Tech Hotel & Conference Center in Atlanta, GA!
Ronald’s wedding party attendants kicked off the morning with a celebratory round of champagne!
Getting ready is hard work! There is so much attention to detail!
Ronald wasn’t nervous at all!
Once Ronald & his wedding party attendants were fully dressed, we went down to the hotel lobby bar to get some awesome group portraits! Luckily, the lobby was gorgeous and there weren’t many patrons there! We got to shoot in a lot of really great spots!
In this photo below, we added an additional speedlight modified by a super large umbrella to make the light super soft and perfect for portraits!
They requested a shot next to this classic style car! Such a cool piece of history.
Once we finished up with the guys, we head over to the girls! This photo below was shot with just beautiful natural lighting! 😍
And we absolutely loved the custom hanger Amber had created for her special day! Such a great personal touch.
And of course, we’ve got to get all the details!
Cheers to the new Mrs! What a fun crew!
A couple more creative details shots while we waited for the ladies to get dressed!
Amber was all smiles all day!
Once everyone was fully dressed, we ran back down to that lobby again! We made sure the guys were long gone so the bride & groom wouldn’t see each other before their first look!
This particular image below was a request from the bridesmaids – they wanted to replicate the front cover image from the movie Bridesmaids! Absolutely love all the attitude here!
After we finished up our portraits with the ladies, it was time for the first look between Amber & Ronald!!! It was a rainy day outside, so we found a great place inside to keep the bride and groom nice & dry!
Ronald was full of so much emotion! It’s so hard not to cry ourselves when we’re capturing moments like this!
His reaction did not disappoint!
Such a sweet & tender moment between these two!
Had to get some shots with this awesome staircase! Amber & Ronald were too cute!
What you don’t see in these pictures is Kyle hiding around the corner and wielding a massive umbrella to light up our subject here!
For this particular shot, we’re going for something a bit more dramatic! We love drama (when it’s in photos that is!)
This is a single light set up without any modifiers directly behind our couple! We love the way it captures & lights up that veil!
Amber & Ronald were all smiles that day!
We are suckers for large architectural style / environmental style portraits! The bigger the space, the better! It helps to paint a fuller picture of the story that day.
And then we finished up their couples creative portraits back at the bar! Loved all the decor & lights & fancy vases they had set up here!
After the couple’s creative portraits segment of the day, we headed off to the ceremony & reception locations to start capturing all the details before the ceremony began & the guests started arriving.
Below are the containers of sand used in the sand pouring ceremony to signify a unifying of families. We added in a quick constant light to this image just to get a nice pop from the elements below. Love the colors they chose for the sand!
They had such a beautiful welcome sign for their guests!
We absolutely adored their cake topper! I believe the cake topper was custom created for their wedding! Love all the details! Not Your Nana’s Bakery did a phenomenal job with this one!
A nice close up shot of some of the table centerpieces before the candles were lit! Love the vibrancy of the crystals/ rocks in these vases! Definitely a nice way to add some ambience to your wedding decor.
And of course no wedding is complete without a coffee station to keep your guests (and your Photo Team) caffeinated! It’s a great way to ensure the party keeps going! Also loved all the different tea options they had for non coffee drinkers!
Absolutely loved all the up lighting! I believe these were supplied by their DJ – Kristina Murray with Atlanta Premiere Entertainment! The reception hall looked absolutely gorgeous! Loved all these vibrant colors!

We had a blast with Rachna & Shamir on their wedding day! We love all the colors we get to see when we photograph South Asian weddings! The Hyatt Regency Suites Atlanta Northwest was a gorgeous venue, very modern, lots of clean lines. We couldn’t get enough of it. Below are a few highlights from the day, as well as more photos in the slideshow at the end.
One of our favorite things to photograph at an Indian wedding is all the beautiful henna! So rich, so detailed, and absolutely gorgeous!
And all the jewelry pieces are amazing as well!
Have I mentioned yet red is my favorite color???
Loved all the different colors and textures of her bracelets!
Rachna & Shamir seeing each other for the first time that day! 🙂
Would you believe this couple doesn’t model professionally??? Look at those faces! So fierce. I LOVE it! As Atlanta wedding photographers, we always do our best to coax certain expressions from our couples, but when they just bring it…. My jaw drops!
Shhhh! A stolen kiss before the wedding!
LOVED all these clean lines at the Hyatt Regency!!! So pretty!
We absolutely loved all these bold colors! <3
Ideally if Rachna & Shamir hadn’t done a first look, I imagine this would be the first time they would see each other on the wedding day, behind the cloth!
All smiles, these two! We couldn’t have asked for a happier couple!
Those colors!!!
A couple of details of the reception room!
Such a cute cake topper!
And custom forks always become such a keepsake!
Before we left for the day, Rachna & Shamir wanted to get a few more couples creative photos!
MAN! Rachna, you BROUGHT IT!
Loving all this red!!!
Magazine cover right here.
Such gorgeous smiles! 🙂

We are SO excited to bring you these Lullwater Park wedding pictures! After Alexis & Neiko eloped, they came to us to schedule some Atlanta wedding photos! Emory University was a special place for the both of them – it’s the place they first met! So it seemed only fitting they’d choose to have their wedding pictures taken at Lullwater park – just next to the school! If you’re looking for wedding photo ideas, or Lullwater Park photography in general, this post is for you!
Alexis was so full of giggles! We LOVED it!!!
This SO reminds me of the Sound of Music!!!
That residence building in the background is the first place Alexis & Neiko met!
Probably one of the coolest features of Lullwater Park is it’s little waterfall wall! Such a pretty backdrop!
Gotta love that black and white!
Neiko checkin’ out his Bae. He didn’t think we’d catch him. BUT WE DID!
So intense!!! Alexis & Neiko KILLED their model walk!
Alexis & Neiko lookin’ sharp!
I just LOVED the view here! One of Atlanta’s best kept secrets by far.
If you’re looking for wedding photo ideas, consider a waterfall wall!
You wouldn’t be able to tell from looking at this photo, but this bridge was super wobbly and maybe suspended 40 feet up in the air? Alexis & Neiko were so brave! Ran straight to the middle of it to get this shot!
As an Atlanta wedding photography studio, we love it when we get a chance to shoot at some lesser known places in Atlanta! We will definitely be back to Lullwater Park!
Oh and THIS gem is the house that the President of Emory University resides in. Not too bad.
Yeah, it totally looks like a castle!
Those eyes! You know it’s love when someone looks at you the way Alexis is looking at Neiko!
Fierce!
Again! With those eyes!
Ok, so at this point, we definitely DID tell Neiko to check out his Bae! And check her out he did!
These two were so cute!!!
And because they’re super styling, we had to get some style shots.
If you’re looking for wedding photo/ wedding picture ideas, take a couple from Alexis & Neiko! They were on point.
I LOVE it when couples get their rings engraved. It adds an extra level of personalization to the rings you’ll be wearing for the rest of your lives!
Samantha & Anthony’s wedding was nothing short of spectacular. We had the best time working with Samantha & Anthony on their wedding day at The Conservatory at Waterstone in Acworth, Georgia! This was a July wedding, and while we did get rain that day, it did not ruin the outdoor ceremony!
We started our day with the guys getting ready. Anthony had gifts for his groomsmen including some awesome Marvel superhero shirts! We also grabbed some fantastic photos of the gentleman as they gathered around the bar where they were getting ready. While the gentlemen were doing their thing downstairs, the ladies were getting ready upstairs. Samantha had an awesome dress, we loved the laces in the back! Once she was ready, our bride took a moment to have a private first look with dad. These moments always get me choked up. When everyone was dressed, we went out behind the Conservatory for the ceremony. The decor was beautiful; from the floral arrangements lining the aisle to the gorgeous arch Samantha & Anthony were married under. It was a very heart warming ceremony. Following the ceremony we got some time to work with the bride and groom around the venue, capturing some of the beautiful scenery the Conservatory has to offer. These creatives turned out amazing!
This first dance was a personal favorite of mine. Midway through the dance, both the bride and groom pulled out lightsabers and started dueling. Then the father of the bride jumped in as well. The whole thing ended in a draw, and Samantha & Anthony concluded their dance.
Dinner was equally unique and exciting. Each table had a different Disney movie theme. The arrangements were spectacular! They brought out the inner child in everyone.
Following dinner was cake, a bouquet and garter toss, and lots of dancing. The night wrapped up with a sparkler & bubble send off. We had a blast that day, we are so glad we got to be a part of it!

Star Wars are technically Disney movies now, did you know?
Anthony & the officiant practicing for the ceremony!
Because it was July, it was also really hot! Anthony & Samantha were prepared and had fans readily availably for their family & friends.
A Rooftop Wedding with the Best Views in Atlanta, GA
If you are looking for a rooftop wedding venue with the best views in Atlanta, GA – The Peachtree Club has you covered! With arguably the best view in the entire city, Katie & Ben’s wedding was one for the books, and one we will remember for a long time to come. As Atlanta wedding photographers, we get SO excited every time we get to include the city skyline in our backdrop!
Atlanta Rooftop Weddings with a View
This wedding was in early November, on one of the coldest days that month. The day kicked off with the guys and gals getting ready at Loews Atlanta Hotel. Gifts were exchanged, drinks were drank, and music was danced to as both sides of the bridal party got dressed to the tens. The Atlanta City skyline was a huge photographic inspiration for the day. We took advantage of the rooftop where the guys were getting ready to photograph some awesome creatives with Atlanta in the background. We absolutely loved the red & burgundy bridesmaids dresses! Each bridesmaid wore a dress of a different cut and shade of red. The ceremony was held at Redeemer Lutheren Church. This is a beautiful downtown Atlanta church. After the ceremony, we took some photos in front of the Federal Reserve Building. The architecture of the Federal Reserve Building made a phenomenal backdrop for these creative wedding photos. The night wrapped up at one of our favorite Atlanta rooftop reception venues, the Peachtree Club Atlanta. Katie & Ben had their first dance on the rooftop, the city of Atlanta behind them. The evening proceeded with an out of this world dinner! You have to check out how they plated the salad! The decor was beautiful, Atlanta themed, with lots of greenery. Following dinner were some hilarious toasts, a cake cutting, lots of dancing, and a fun pompom send off! The party at the Peachtree Club was spectacular! The view from the rooftop venue is always a treat. It’s weddings like this that make us love being Atlanta Wedding Photographers.

We had a blast working with Natalie & James to create their St Peter Chanel Wedding Photos. With probably the largest wedding party we’ve photographed to date, it was an amazing time! As Atlanta wedding photographers, we bring you the highlights of Natalie & James’ wedding below!
We absolutely adored Natalie’s shoes! Gorgeous embellishments.

Before the Ceremony
The bride and groom opted to take a photo together before the ceremony (without seeing each other!).

The groom’s face as he sees his bride walking towards him down the aisle is such a powerful moment!
