We started off the day with getting ready portraits at a nearby hotel with the groom & groomsmen. After that, we head over the wedding venue for the day – the Athens Cotton Press!
This venue has a super cool & industrial warehouse space!
Once we arrived, we began taking portraits with the bride & her 12 bridesmaids – followed by some solo bridal portraits.
Reception Decor at the Athens Cotton Press
After portraits concluded, we had some time to focus on all the finished wedding reception decor! As a dimly lit warehouse space, we had to add in additional lighting to get the best images!
We loved the hanging lanterns and hanging florals! The string lights also added a warm touch to this industrial wedding venue.
A Wedding Ceremony at the Athens Cotton Press
Because Athens Cotton Press is a dimly lit warehouse space, it is CRUCIAL to photograph with camera equipment that can handle the low light levels!
We loved the symmetry in this ceremony space!
Bridal Party Photos Outside of Athens Cotton Press
Once the ceremony concluded, we took family portraits by the altar, and then head outside for some fun bridal party photos!
Bride and Groom Photos Outside Athens Cotton Press
At golden hour, we got to photograph some incredible portraits with our bride and groom! The silos in the photos below held up the super industrial vibe of this wedding!
Athens Cotton Press Reception Photos
Shortly after the sun set, the bride and groom were introduced inside! We loved how this gorgeous industrial warehouse space was lit up at night! We added in additional lighting when necessary to light our bride and groom and their guests for their reception photos!

We started the day at the Loews Hotel in Midtown, Atlanta! If you don’t know, the Loews has wonderful city skyline views all around!
Once the groom & groomsmen were dressed, we headed over to the conference level to get some awesome group portraits!
On this particular day, it was relatively cold & bleak outside, so we opted to not use the outdoor terrace space at the Loews.
After we wrapped up portraits with the groomsmen, we head over to the girls’ getting ready suite! The bride gifted her bridesmaids with matching robes – we wanted to make sure we got some fun portraits with them!
After the bride was dressed, we head down to the Conference Level with the bride & bridesmaids for even more awesome group portraits.
Wedding Decor at the Foundry at Puritan Mill
After we left the Loews, we head over to the Foundry at Puritan Mill for the ceremony! Once we arrived, we had a few minutes before ceremony started to start capturing some of the gorgeous detail photos.
A Ceremony at the Foundry at Puritan Mill
There ceremony happened in the center of the venue with either side partitioned off for the reception events later in the evening.
There were soft white/ sheer curtains draped all around – absolutely perfect for the beautiful natural lighting coming in!
Night Time Photos Outside the Foundry
After the ceremony & family portraits concluded, we photographed portraits with the bride & groom outside! At this point in the evening, the sun had already started to set. Because we were constantly losing light during this time, we introduced additional lighting. The end result is super dramatic & moody photos!
Reception Decor at the Foundry
Once we wrapped up with the couple’s creative portraits, we had some time alone with the reception space before the guests entered! This warehouse had gorgeous pin lights everywhere, creating a softly lit, romantic space for the reception events to unfold. Because it was dimly lit, we added in additional light when necessary to create the best possible images!
An Evening Reception at the Foundry at Puritan Mill
The bride & groom entered and the reception began with an incredible first dance!
We added in additional lighting here as well to appropriately light our couples and their guests on the dance floor!

Warren was such snazzy dresser! We loved his burgundy groom suit and matching burgundy boutonniere! He looked so sharp!
Probably some of the coolest groom shoes we’ve ever seen! Very stylish.
Whitney & her bridesmaids looking fierce! Again, absolutely loved these burgundy bridesmaid dresses! They complimented their skin tones so nicely! And the burgundy bouquets were also spot on!
Whitney was such a beautiful gorgeous bride!
Absolutely HAD to capture this sweet moment with the bride’s father before the ceremony started!
Whitney & Warren see each other for the first time that day!
I think his look says it all!
These words spoken by Whitney’s bridesmaid – this was such a powerful moment!
Such a great performance!
Terminus 330 probably has one of the coolest skyline views of the city skyline in Atlanta.
Here come the vows! Cue the water works! Such a tender moment. Whitney & Warren wrote their own vows. They were deeply personal and so touching. I’m misty eyed just thinking of the moment.
The groom had a moment! It was so sweet to see him instantly reassured by the bride and his best man!
There were so many amazing moments full of laughter!
When the bride started reading her vows, I LOST it!!! It was so hard to take pictures in this moment! Everything looked blurry! Good things our cameras can’t cry.
Absolutely love this moment of the ring exchange between the bride & groom!
Such a great looking crew! Absolutely loving the burgundy bridal party colors!

After we left St. Peter Chanel, we headed to the Old Mill in downtown Roswell for Natalie & James creative couple portraits and some super fun bridal party shots before heading off to create some Ivy Hall Roswell Wedding Photos. We LOVED the rustic feel of Ivy Hall, with the open wood beam ceilings! Gorgeous venue. Guests had a blast at the end of the day with the confetti send off – a send off Natalie & James will remember always! Below are a couple highlights from the reception.
