Originally built in 1926 as the bathhouse for swimmers at Lake Clara Meer, Greystone now serves as a beautiful venue space for weddings and events alike. The venue features 32 foot wooden beamed ceilings and polished concrete floors, as well as sweeping views of the pool and Lake Clara Meer from the back terrace.
Take in breathtaking views of the Midtown Atlanta skyline from the stone columns at the front of the venue. The Dockside venue at Piedmont Park offers both of these options and more. Your reception can take place in the historic Visitor’s Center, which overlooks the dock (great inclement weather plan!), or in any of the other surrounding rental venues available.
The lower lawn and dock areas provide gorgeous ceremony locations for your special day, while theVisitor Center’s arched columns create a dramatic backdrop for your wedding photos. While Piedmont Park is open to the public and free to visit, there are fees associated with certain activities within the park, such as event space rentals.
If you’re simply looking to have Piedmont Park wedding pictures done, (at the time of this writing) there are no fees associated with having your wedding portrait session take place at the park – aside from parking. The same can be said for bridal sessions.
The cost of an actual Piedmont Park wedding can vary greatly depending on several factors, including your specific venue, number of guests, time of year, and any additional services you may opt for.
