Danielle & Jordan were such a fun loving and sweet couple to work with. We especially admired their DIY prowess! They did such an awesome job on their DIY cupcake cake and DIY wedding bouquets! This Burge Plantation wedding also made for some killer photos any other Atlanta wedding photographer would die for. With wide open pastures, quaint cottages, and beautiful landscape, Burge Plantation provided AMAZING scenery for Danielle & Jordan’s wedding. Below are a couple of highlights from the day and a couple interview questions with the bride and groom. (Special shout out to Melissa & Jonathan for assistant shooting!)

Was it love at first sight?
Love at first hike!
How did the two of you meet?
Playing kickball in Smyrna
What was the first thing you remember about that moment?
Jordan: highlighter socks, a big personality & a great laugh
Danielle: I noticed he was a great athlete, was very nice & very shy
What attracted you most to one another?
Jordan: her kindness & patience
Danielle: how genuine & gentlemanly he was. He’s the sweetest person I’ve ever met
What made this person different from anyone else you’d encountered?
How similar we are & how much we think alike & have in common. That neither of us had ever felt such a strong connection to anyone in our lives before.
Where was your first date, and how long did it take you to get ready?
A hike at Jacks River. It didn’t take either of us any longer than it usually does to gather & prepare stuff for a several hour hike
Who was the first person you told about your fiancé after your first date?
Danielle: Steven & Darby
Jordan: Matt
Who said “I love you” first?
Danielle did. On the porch one night after kickball
How did you feel the first time these words were said?
Jordan: I felt the same & told her so!
When did you each know that the other was the one?
The first hike we went on
How did you feel after you had that “this is it” moment?
Danielle: I felt like a crazy person & that he must have been too good to be true
Jordan: nervous & excited
Were you nervous about one another meeting your family?
Not at all. We are actually excited about it.
Who does your partner remind you most of?
Jordan: nobody I’ve ever met. She’s truly unique.
Danielle: in a lot of ways, he reminds me of my dad, but really there is no one who compares to him. He stands alone.
What’s the one thing about one another you couldn’t live without?
Each others love
Anything else you’d like to share?
We still play kickball together & love it! Jordan joined the team Danielle had been captaining for a couple years & became a co captain & one of our best pitchers! We enjoy hiking, rock climbing, tubing on the Chattahoochee, camping, cooking, playing kickball, going caving, traveling, being in nature & share a love for music.
