On February 23 2013, Brothers from Tau Kappa Epsilon (TKE) at Southern Polytechnic State University, along with family and friends, gathered at the Hilton Marietta Hotel & Conference Center for their celebration of 40 years on campus at the annual Red Carnation Ball! Brothers from different eras that joined the fraternity were in attendance making it a magical night of collaboration of old and young.

The Alif Institute hosted their annual Gala Event this year at the Atlanta Marriott Gwinnett Place Hotel, featuring comedian Dean Obeidallah. With entertainment, dinner, and dance, the event included the Arab American High Achievers Awards as well as a silent auction. The Alif Institute is an Arab American Non-Profit Educational and Cultural Enrichment Center. Their mission is to foster the understanding and appreciation of Arab culture.
