Our Studio
Meet Your Atlanta Wedding Photographers
We’re Jaimie and Kyle, the husband-and-wife team behind Jaimie Dee Photography, together with a small group of associate photographers we trust. Jaimie founded the studio in 2008, and we’ve photographed weddings, elopements and courthouse ceremonies across Metro Atlanta ever since.
Our style blends cinematic, classic and candid images with true-to-life editing. We love the relaxed pace of smaller celebrations and the time they leave for the moments that matter to you.
Based in Metro Atlanta, we photograph elopements, courthouse ceremonies, micro weddings and wedding portraits throughout the metro area and nearby towns, including Marietta, Decatur, Roswell, Alpharetta and Kennesaw. We’re happy to travel farther, and a travel fee applies outside our usual area.
Questions Couples Ask
Wedding Photography Under $2,000 FAQ
Can we book full wedding-day coverage for under $2,000?
Our collections under $2,000 are designed for elopements, courthouse ceremonies, weekday micro weddings and wedding portrait sessions. Full wedding days with a larger guest list book from our Atlanta wedding photography collections, which start above $2,000.
How much does a wedding photographer cost in Atlanta?
It depends on your date, the hours of coverage and the size of the photography team. Our guide to how much a wedding photographer costs walks through average prices and what shapes them, and our options under $1,000 and $2,000 are listed above. A quick call with Jaimie gives you an exact quote for your day.
How many hours of photography coverage do we need?
Elopements and courthouse ceremonies start at 2 hours, which leaves time for the ceremony, photos with your guests and portraits together. Micro weddings vary widely: smaller weekday celebrations often fit elopement coverage, while larger or weekend micro weddings usually need half-day coverage of up to 4 hours. Our guide to how long you need a wedding photographer for shows sample timelines.
Why do weekday dates start at a different rate than weekends?
Friday through Sunday are our most requested days, and weekend pricing reflects that demand. Weekday dates, Monday through Thursday, come with their own advantages: quieter locations, more open dates at venues and courthouses, and more flexibility when planning around the weather.
How does a wedding portrait session work?
Weekday wedding portrait sessions start with a $300 retainer. We help you plan the location, timing and posing, and after the session you choose the images and artwork you love at your ordering appointment, so you decide how much you invest. Weekend portrait sessions, Friday through Sunday, have an $1,800 minimum. Learn more about wedding portrait sessions.
How far in advance should we book?
Elopements and courthouse weddings often come together within a few months, and short-notice dates are welcome. Reach out as soon as you have a date in mind. The quickest way to check availability is to schedule a call with Jaimie.
