Natalie House sits on 3571 Lawrenceville Hwy in Lawrenceville, GA, about 30 minutes northeast of downtown Atlanta. The estate dates back to 1987 and has long been known for its lush, manicured gardens and elegant Georgian architecture, first as Little Gardens and now under new ownership as Natalie House by Wedgewood Weddings. The venue holds up to 250 guests and includes a grand foyer with a sweeping staircase, a Georgian-style ballroom with French doors, crystal chandeliers, and a hand-carved mahogany bar, and dedicated get-ready suites for the wedding party.

Outdoor Spaces
The gardens are the highlight of this property, and they’re beautiful from nearly every angle. Ceremonies here have traditionally taken place outdoors in the gardens, in front of the venue’s water feature (once a fountain, now more of a koi pond), with a garden bridge and winding brick and flagstone paths giving us plenty of spots for portraits before and after.
Indoor Spaces
After the ceremony, the celebration typically moves indoors to the Georgian-style ballroom. The large windows overlooking the gardens let in a wonderful amount of natural light, especially for a morning wedding, and the chandeliers add a nice bit of sparkle for reception photos once the sun goes down. It’s an elegant space on its own, and it flows naturally from the gardens outside.

This is a wonderful venue for photography, plain and simple. Between the gardens, the ballroom light, and the architectural details throughout the manor, there’s no shortage of beautiful backdrops. The front of the house does sit in direct sun for a good part of the day, which takes some know-how to work with, but it’s very manageable, and we’ve always come away with a great variety of images here.
