Lauren & Paul began their engagement session in their casual outfits! Love the mustard yellow and olive green tones they selected for their outfit choices!
At Big Door Vineyards, we love to include some session photos directly in front of the BIG DOOR!
When we asked them to show us a little attitude, they blew us away! They BROUGHT IT!
Not only did Lauren & Paul SLAY their serious look, they brought all the fun & happy vibes when we tried to coax genuine smiles from them!

Picnic Tables at Big Door
After shooting in front of the BIG DOOR, we worked our way around to the side of the tasting room! There we found a little picnic bench and some solid backdrops to shoot against. For more photos from this portion of their session, check out the slideshow at the bottom of this post.
Engagement Photos in Front of the Vineyard at Big Door
Lauren & Paul also brought a fun winter blanket with them to add some extra texture to the scene! We LOVE it when couples incorporate fun props into their sessions – even something as simple as a picnic blanket can add a lot of diversity and variety to your engagement photo session!
The lighting here at this time of day (sunset) was absolutely incredible!
Once Lauren & Paul changed into their second set of outfits, they got a chance to order some wine inside the tasting room! Definitely a fun date night idea to have your engagement session at a North Georgia vineyard! These set of photos took place just next to some of the vines!
The Big Door Vineyards Sign at Big Door
When you’re at Big Door, of course we also have to get some photos of the giant sign in the middle of the vineyard!
The Mini Waterfall Water Feature at Big Door
Big Door Vineyards also has some super fun water features! (Not pictured here) There’s a pond in the center of the vineyard just in front of the Big Door sign. There’s also a mini waterfall feature that feeds into the pond!
This last image was a request by Lauren & Paul! The prompt here was – “Paul, kiss Lauren on the cheek!” and “Lauren, don’t let him kiss you!” The end result was so cute!
