Melodie came to me with an idea for her 28th birthday party – a pin-up themed photo session at the Artmore Hotel with a couple of her closest friends! The girls headed out to the local salon and decided to make a day of it! There was pampering, and professional makeup artists, and professional hair stylists! The results – absolutely stunning. But you can see for yourself. 😉
Atlanta Wedding Photographers
As an Atlanta portrait photographer, it’s always weird to photograph someone you know. I pride myself as being a very honest individual. However, with those I’m closest to, I’m almost TOO honest. Photographing Patrick was such a different experience than photographing my regular clients. Although I always seek professionalism in the way I pose my subjects, my instructions with friends are usually much more casual. “Suck in your gut and sit up straight! Your face looks stupid when you do that. Don’t ever do that face again. Omg that angle is horrible – your double chins are showing!”
Despite my blatant remarks, at the end of the day I am still loved (usually). My friends are awesome people for putting up with my candidness. 🙂
Patrick will be graduating from Kennesaw State University in the Winter of 2012 with his degree in Finance. The images below were shot around the school campus.
Amber is an aspiring actress! She needed head shots to jump start her career. Can’t wait to see the jobs she’ll land soon!
Trying to branch out from regular Atlanta portrait photography, Amber and I took a visit to Vines Botanical Gardens in Loganville, GA. It’s a GORGEOUS well kept secret near my hometown. Vines Botanical Gardens is a beautiful southern style mansion with breathtaking landscapes. Ladies, they do weddings too!

As an Atlanta portrait photographer, it’s sometimes hard to find places to shoot when returning to your hometown. Haley had mentioned that many of her theatre students had their head shots done around the Lawrenceville Square. It ended up being a gorgeous location with tons of places to shoot! Here are a couple highlights from the day. 🙂
