FAQ’s

How do I find a mentor for photography?

A quick Google search can find you the photography studios offering mentorship programs nearest to you. However, these days, a lot of programs are available online. This opens the doors to new opportunities to connect with photographers and photo studios all across the globe! When looking for the perfect fit for your photography mentorship, you can ask photographers you admire, ask for referrals or personal recommendations from industry peers, or simply do a quick google search.

What is a photography mentorship? What is the process?

A photography mentorship is a relationship built between you & a photography studio you’d like to learn from. Every studio may have a variety of programs offered – from a simple online one-on-one coaching call, group coaching calls, a full fledged course, or some combination of the above. Jaimie Dee Photography currently offers Q&A style One-on-One video Zoom calls with Jaimie Dee herself.

The process is simple, straight-forward, and easy to understand. Book your session date & time, pay your retainer to reserve your spot, send your questions to Jaimie Dee in advance via questionnaire, pay your remaining balance 2 days before your session, and have your questions answered at your Photography Mentorship Zoom call!

If you happen to think of a random question during your call you initially forgot to send in advance, you are welcome to ask whatever comes to mind.

If you have any hesitations or want to discuss a topic you don’t see listed here, simply send us a quick email! After we have a chance to review, we’ll let you know if we think we can help.

What should I expect from a photography mentor?

A good photography mentor will communicate all expectations in advance. You should have a clear idea of their offerings, their level of expertise, and what you hope to gain from the experience. Our One-on-One Photography Mentorship Program will cover as many questions as possible within your booked time frame.
